Our patented product, BIODAC®, is the synthesized recovery of short and long cellulose fibers, precipitated calcium carbonate and kaolin clay, that would otherwise go to a landfill. BIODAC® granules are uniform in size and shape, and mix extremely well with HDPE (high density polyethylene)-a critical element in the production of composite building materials. This is what makes GEODECK™ a stronger, lighter-weight product with less thermal movement and greater dimensional stability than other composites. During the manufacturing process, HDPE actually penetrates the BIODAC® granule, ensuring better coating of the fiber with plastic.
