Composite Versus Traditional decks

We are not here to say that composite decking material is better than traditional treated lumber {but it is}. Composite decking material is made from recycled plastics and wood by-products. Treated Lumber and cedar decks are cheaper, at first. Composite material needs less maintanence. You must stain/paint & seal traditional decks every 2 years to maintain it apperance. This can be very expensive running up to $800.00 each time. Within a few years the money saved by installing the less expensive traditional decks is lost. With composite decking a power wash is all you need to keep your deck looking as new as the day it was installed. See below for more reason to chose a composite deck.

To the Right is a close up of composite decking
material. Note the Real wood grain effect.

To the left is a beautiful Mountain View
raised deck. This Deck can withstand the
                                                                         extreme climate without the normal
                                                                         deterioration associated with normal
                                                                         treated wood decks.

Water is very hard on treated lumber.Treated
wood decks located around ocean fronts and
heavy chlorinated water around whirlpools and
swimming pools can damage these decks in just
a few short years.

By using composite materials for these
harsh locations, deck life can be
extended 5 to 10 times longer than
                                                                         treated wood decks.
